About Zohara:
“Born from the desire for a more intentional musical experience, Zohara is a community-first, underground house & techno gathering. A place focused purely on sound, movement, and shared energy, without the posing, phones, or VIPs. This idea came to life from a simple truth: this kind of space doesn’t really exist in Austin yet. So we’re creating it. This is an intimate, non-commercial event, where every ticket goes directly into the experience itself: the space, the sound, and an open bar (BYOB also welcome).
On a musical level, our sound will put House & Techno music at the forefront, with occasional hard techno and trance (usually as closing sets). Every DJ is selected due to their curation, selection and unique color they bring, and unlike other venues, Zohara is a place where DJs can bring their best selves and take risks.”
